Be + Green Beans Weekly Review [December 11, 2009]

Several things have taken place this week. It's been one green week indeed... 

So let us review what's really happened.


U.S. President Barack Obama accepts his much controversial Nobel Peace Prize. While environmentalists complete the conference and reports in Copenhagen... Some of which included:

• International Geosphere-Biosphere Program: Launched the IGBP Climate-Change Index
• Breakthrough in Monitoring Tropical Forest Destruction 
• Polar Bear Vanishes: Sculpture Demonstrates the Devastating Effect of Global Warming 

With all these efforts and amazing presentations, it would be great to see some drastic changes with how our government deals with climate + global warming this coming year. Hopefully, they'll add taking care of the environment and Mother Earth to their New Year's resolutions list.
