It seems that that's what everyone wanted to know after Mayor Michael Bloomberg picked him as the new environmental commissioner for New York City.

Although the mayor's staff described him as a "deft behind-the-scenes problem-solver" and added several accomplishments to his resume (the most prominent being the work he did post-9/11), there are those that are still skeptical. Especially since they've never heard of him before this appointment...
